About today’s guests
Candy Wilson, Nutrition and Wellness Advisor
In the story of Candy Wilson’s life, she emerges as a devoted mother of three grown children, a lively grandmother to two toddlers, and a cherished member among six siblings. Though she has experienced the loss of dear family members due to degenerative and preventable illnesses, Candy’s purpose has crystallized into a fervent passion. Her mission revolves around a lifestyle that minimizes toxins in both the body and the environment. Introducing herself as Candy Wilson, the driving force behind Canigan Health Options, she fervently shares the concept of revisiting the wisdom of bygone generations for rejuvenation along side scientific studies to improve our products today.
Candy strongly believes in the potential to rediscover the vitality of yesteryears through wholesome nutrition, thoughtful meal plans, and holistic life strategies. Her advocacy extends to promoting organic, plant-based, non-GMO nourishment and clinically proven supplements. She also takes pride in curating a skincare line that outshines popular brands such as Clinique, Este Lauder, Lancome and other drug store variety by featuring a staggering 2500 fewer harmful chemicals than the others. You will find the company she represents this month in Elle Magazine, and in September, in Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar issues. Candy’s dedication to well-being is mirrored in her endorsement of biodegradable, non-toxic cleaning agents, laundry and personal care products because FDA allows thousands of chemicals in commercial products that are not allowed in other countries, the non-toxic choices resonate with her deep commitment to health and environmental consciousness.
At the heart of Candy’s philosophy lies the notion of ‘living healthy, dying healthy.’ She firmly believes in the transformative power of this principle and is resolute in her mission to share it with receptive minds. Through Canigan Health Options, Candy lays out a roadmap for individuals seeking a longer, healthier journey, extending an open invitation to those ready to embrace vitality and well-being.
At 72 years young, Candy thrives without any prescribed medications, stays healthy by eating organic, non-GMO and supplementing with plant-based nutrients and herbs, pure protein smoothies with collagen and all nine amino-acids, plenty of fiber and adequate sleep and exercise. She doesn’t forget to keep the toxic load down around her as well by including clean purified water (not bottled water!)
An avid traveler in her youth, Candy has explored every National Forest in the U.S. and enjoyed downhill skiing in various iconic locations like the U.S. Rockies, New England States, the Hawaiian state on Mauna Kea , Canadian Rockies in the Banff, Alberta area, Austrian Alps, and the snow-covered Midwest around the Great Lakes.
Switching gears, she developed a passion for tennis and now enjoys playing doubles three times a week. Her admiration for tennis legend Roger Federer, the GOAT, knows no bounds.
Candy’s family history is marked by resilience. Her parents relocated from Honolulu after the bombing of Pearl Harbor, seeking new opportunities on the mainland. Born and raised in Chicago, Candy’s journey reflects her family’s enduring spirit.
With a remarkable 35-year career in International Logistics, Candy’s work took her across Asia, Europe, and every state in the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii. Her role contributed to managing trade imbalances and fostering global commerce.
Despite her extensive travels, family remains a cornerstone. Candy’s children are spread across the United States, from Cleveland to Chicago, and she currently resides in Tampa, where she supports her daughter and son-in-law in caring for her two beloved grandchildren.
Among her achievements, Candy received a pretty bronze statue of a 1920’s woman posing for the Hole-In-One award at a golf tournament. Pretty good for someone who normally plays army-golf. (Left/right, left/right, left/right)
Candy’s compassionate heart shines through her 20-year commitment to fighting human trafficking. She tirelessly works to rehabilitate and support survivors, collaborating with U.S. Customs Border & Protection, State Departments, tatoo-removal service and non-profit organizations.
Over the past 25 years, Candy has been an active participant in various ministries at her church in Chicago, offering her caring presence and prayers to those in need.
Candy Wilson’s life story is a testament to resilience, adventure, family, and a strong commitment to making a positive impact on both local and global communities.

Michael Mulkey, Holistic Professional
Michael is a holistic professional who has come up with his own proprietary method to help identify & get past limiting beliefs and patterns that keep people from achieving their full potential. Michael specializes in many different aspects of people’s lives & what might be holding them back, but one thing in particular that I asked him to talk about in this episode is wealth & success, since many of us know that there is the potential of being wealthy & successful, since we know there are other people who have achieved those things, but maybe are not quite sure of how it’s possible for us, as moms, and what may be holding us back from achieving that.
Michael helps individuals, business leaders, & artists to consciously and subconsciously re-perceive themselves, their circumstances, and their personal power.
Using his proprietary Mindset Evolution Method(R), he helps you identify and transform self limiting beliefs and patterns that block your personal growth and potential. This is one-on-one deep transformational work. These powerful shifts have immense impact and create a ripple effect in your business, relationships and life.
MEM sessions are a simple and effective way for you to change limiting beliefs that are blocking you from reaching your goals in life.
In a session, you will define your present situation (challenge), and Michael will help you to identify and transform the subconscious beliefs/programs that are keeping you from reaching your desired outcome.
To change your undesired programs, Michael will work with you using a unique combination of resources which include (but not limited to) Muscle Testing, Whole-Brain Integration, and Goal Clarification. This approach enables you to communicate directly with your subconscious mind in order to safely and effectively make the changes that are limiting you. This process is called a Balance because it creates a balanced identification between the left and right side of the brain, allowing safe and effective access to make the desired changes. Mind-Body-Spirit.
Michael was originally from Baton Rouge, but a Tennesseean for the last 25 yrs. He’s a musician, writer, and lover of nature… He worked in the music industry, left the corporate world after 20+ yrs., and now devotes his talent & energy to “humans” making a positive transformational change in their life or business.
